Dr. Wen 參與的研究團隊近期於《SSM - Population Health》發表〈Racial/ethnic disparities in neighborhood physical activity environments: Comparing Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander and Asian Americans in the United States〉一文。本研究使用美國人口普查區（census tract）資料，探討夏威夷原住民與其他太平洋島民（Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander, NHPI）及亞裔美國人所處的鄰里身體活動環境（physical activity environments, PAEs）差異。研究發現，NHPI 與亞裔族群所處的身體活動環境具有不同特徵。NHPI 社區在建成環境、運動設施及社會環境方面普遍較不利，但在夏威夷擁有較佳的自然環境；相對地，亞裔社區則呈現相反的模式。研究結果顯示，將 NHPI 與亞裔人口合併分析，會掩蓋重要的環境差異，並凸顯公共衛生研究與介入措施應採用分群分析及符合在地脈絡的方法。查看出版：https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ssmph.2026.101916
