Dr. Kingston 參與的研究團隊近期在《The Journals of Gerontology: Series A》發表〈Intrinsic capacity and healthy ageing in the United Kingdom and Brazil: a coordinated analysis of two population-based cohort studies〉一文。本研究比較英國與巴西在不同文化與社會經濟背景下的intrinsic capacity (IC），並探討其與人口社會特徵及健康之間的關聯。研究運用線性與邏輯斯迴歸分析資料，結果顯示，older age、非白人種族／族群、較低教育程度以及較低財富水準，皆與較低的IC分數顯著相關。
